Versions

In 2010 the Weihenstephan standards for production data acquisition in bottling and packaging plants ("WS 2005") were expanded by data point definitions and evaluation recommendations for machines in the food industry ("WS Food"). For the version update in 2012, "WS 2005" was renamed "WS Pack". In addition, all WS partial documents, the XML schema and the data point libraries were uniformly named and given the same version number "Version 06". In 2014 all following parts were updated to "Version 07", in 2016 to "Version 08".

Since mid-2019, the Weihenstephan standards are also available for process beer production (WS Brew).
